Levenson co-founded UCG (United Communications Group) with Ed Peskowitz in 1977 in Levenson’s apartment in Maryland. Bruce Levenson is an active philanthropist. According to an article on PR News, he participates in various groups like Hoop Dreams Foundation and the Community Foundation of Washington, D.C. In the article by AJC, the lawsuit filed against the New Hampshire Insurance Company involves a breach of contract involving settlement claims made by Danny Ferry, the former general manager of the Hawks. The lawsuit began because the New Hampshire Insurance Company refuses to acknowledge the claim made by Danny Ferry and refuses to acknowledge the insurance policy that was triggered by these claims. The insurance company refuses to pay Bruce Levenson’s group. The suit against the insurance company is also asking for a fifty percent penalty fee and for the insurance company to pay for attorney fees.
