Susan McGalla – Popular Business Executive

A recent statistical study shows that companies who offer more of diversity in their environment are more successful. Companies with gender-diversity are approximately 15% more likely to outperform. Companies that are ethnically diverse show an increase of 35% more success in relation to performance. The increase is believed to be an asset to the company because they are open to more ideas. Different studies show that executive level positions are mostly held by men, but more women are working their way up and showing that they are capable of holding strong level positions.

Susan McGalla happens to be one of the popular business executives who has held many high positions. She started out at the bottom and worked her way up through the ranks. She grew up with her two brothers and her father who was a football coach. Much of her success has grown from her life as a child and responds to how she was raised. She quickly learned that she had to work hard for what she wanted and there were no breaks given. Her experiences as a young adult and child have shaped her into the strong woman she is today.

She has held many high level positions for top executive companies such as American Eagle Outfitters and working with the Pittsburgh Steelers. She worked her way up to the top when she was employed with American Eagle Outfitters. She is the founder of a consulting firm called P3 Executive Consulting and is currently the Vice President of the Creative Development of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Her years of success have helped shaped the industry for women in many ways. She has helped initiate communication and leadership with many women seeking high level executive jobs through sponsorship’s and various connections. She understands the imperative need to allow women to grow into businesses that are diverse and ethical by utilizing networks and opportunities. Through experience in the industry and life, Susan McGalla has been a wonderful example for many to follow. She continues to be successful in her field of study, and will continue to empower women for many years to come.
