The USA Water Polo Team Wins Gold in the FINA World League Supper Final

The USA Women water polo national team maintained their excellent tactics to win the FINA World League Super Final. The ladies won their fourth gold medal at the tournament and 11th Super Final Cup after they beat Canada by 12-6. Makenzie Fischer contributed to the victory of the match by scoring two goals, and she was named as the tournament’s most valuable player. Kiley Neushul also helped in the win by scoring twice in the game and was named to be part of the all-star team. Gabby Stone made nine crucial saves.

The women team is currently preparing to play in the FINA Word Championship that will be held in Budapest, Hungary this July. The USA has successfully won gold medals in several past matches. The team’s most preferred tactic is going out from the front. Scoring two goals was an excellent start. When the halftime whistle blew, they had beaten Canada 6-4. Canada was determined to emerge the winners. They made outstanding attacks, and their defense was very solid. The USA squad is, however, sharper, and they made stronger attacks than their rivals. Their passes were excellent, and each player seemed to try and find a free person to pass the ball to. Maddie Musselman is a highly skilled player, but she did not manage to join the Media All-Star Team. She scored the point that took the USA to 7-4.

Canada’s Monika Eggens scored for the team to make it 9-5 while Hayley McKelvey made the last point that brought them to 9-6. The USA squad worked extra hard, and they managed to get scores from the Neushul sisters Kiley and Jamie. The team won 12-6, and it believes that it will also perform well at the FINA World Championships that will be hosted in Budapest next month. The USA water polo women team’s head coach, Adam Krikorian, said that the team has young players, but it is doing its best top perform well. He also believes that the Canadian team is improving.
